How we met

Scott and Christina met in early 2015 by pure, dumb luck swiping on a dating app. They exchanged texts for a week or so before finally meeting in person at Hodgepodge, a quirky little coffee shop in East Atlanta.

Almost four years, 807 dates, and 196 New York Times Sunday crosswords later, Christina moved into the house Scott had since bought in East Atlanta, a few blocks from that very same coffee shop. In May of 2019, they adopted their scruffy little bully puppy, Walter.

As the pandemic hit in 2020, they got to know each other better than ever. Working from home while quarantined made it clear to the two that they wanted to be together forever. They bought a house together in the same East Atlanta neighborhood where they met and fell in love.

The Proposal

With the help of Christina’s 2 year old nephew, Scott asked Christina to marry him while they were trick-or-treating at her childhood home on Halloween 2020.
